Successful Greens Maintenance

Greens Maintenance Monday 14 - Wednesday 16th August

Following three long days, all 18 greens on the main course have now had the following work carried out. Hollow Coring, Scarification (Using the Graden), Direct Injection of Kiln Dried Sand with Bent Seed, and Top Dressing Applied. A massive thank you to the following volunteers, without their help the work would still be taking place.

David Eckersley, Carole Bostock, David Kent, Steve Whiteside, David Porter, Peter Bunn, Stuart Punt, Jayne George, Chris Weldon, Bob McGill, Ralph Flatt, Kenny Sansom, John Pawsey, Graham Shillings, Mike Chaplin, Kevin Titchiner, and last but by no means least, Trevor Gooch. As you can see from the pictures below, the work was very physical and I know that a few of the volunteers were 'feeling it' afterwards.

A big thank you to our Greens Staff, who all stayed on to ensure that the job was completed.
