The stunning scores keep on coming

Bob Bagshaw Senior/Junior Trophy Mon 23rd Oct 2017

First played for in 2008, the Bob Bagshaw trophy is a popular event with both the senior and junior sections. The trophy was donated by the late Bob Bagshaw, who was a great supporter of the Club's juniors. The competition format is now a team of 3/4 AM-AM made up of two seniors and 1/2 juniors. This year's competition followed the recent trend of high scores, with the winners Ben Newman, Joe Ford, and Steve Newman coming in with a remarkable 92 Pts, 15 points clear of runners-up Matthew Clark, Mike Bryan, and Allan Holmes. Third place went to Jarred Lansdale, Roger Boon, and Peter Bunn.

Senior Captain David Porter presented the trophy to the winning team, and thanked everyone for supporting the event. Players enjoyed a light lunch of sausage rolls and chips after the competition.
